Rich Life Carnival #19 – Money Blueprint Edition
Welcome to the 19th edition of rich life carnival. This week I’m reading “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”, by T. Harv Eker. It’s quite an eye-opener, to tell you the truth. When it comes to financial success, we’re all used to hearing the saying “It’s not how much you make, it’s how much you keep”. Well that would be good advice if most people could actually figure out how to keep more, either by saving more or earning more or a combination of both. In truth, it’s mostly a mental thing, and this author explains it under the concept of the “money blueprint“. In very few words, it states that “your income can grow only to the extent you do!“. He goes on to say:
The vast majority of people simply do not have the internal capacity to create and hold on to large amounts of money and the increased challenges that go with more money and success. [...] A perfect example is lottery winners. Research has shown again and again that regardless of the size of their winnings, most lottery winners eventually return to their original financial state, the amount they can comfortably handle.
Food for thought for all of us that are struggling with our finances! I know it’s been said again and again, but it really starts from within.
Now on to this week’s submissions, all 55 of them.

The Ten Steps to Make a Legal Will With or Without An Attorney A basic will is a simple document used to transfer your own property to whomever you want to get it after you die. If you have a modest estate and simple wishes about what you want to do with it, you can make your own legal will. Some people don’t want to face the thought of their death. It is an emotional and psychic hurdle. But wouldn’t you be happier to know that your plans are in place, and your wishes will be respected after you are no longer here? With a will, you know that your loved ones are provided for. A will ensures that, if death comes unexpectedly, your loved ones will not have to deal with this additional burden in their time of grief. Do You Need a Legal Will? Without a will, the court will determine who gets your money, property and personal belongings, and will divide your assets among close family members. The court determines who will get custody of your minor children, without regard to your wishes. The court will appoint an attorney to manage your estate, and will pay attorney’s fees out of your estate. Wouldn’t you like to choose for yourself what happens? That’s why you need a will.”
